Happy B-day pharmerphil!!! I hope it's a good one for ya.
Well now I was dropped with a bombshell yesterday. My family feels forced to move since we didn't get our neighbour's property. It looks like our new neighbours will be hunters and she afraid of stray bullets and anything happening to our cats that go outside loose like 4 wheelers running them over. I really don't want to move since it's the place where I grew up and holds so many memories for me but in the end there is nothing that I can do. I am still bunking with my parents and so it's their place and their decision. I think if they do move, I will finally move out and get a place of my own. Either way, I think she is overreacting and things may not be as bad as she envisions. Anyway, I am kinda glad that I didn't win since I don't feel ready to take a house or mortgage. I am going on a cruise this December and just want to focus on that.
I'm going on the Wakefield train this Sunday. Has anyone else ever done this? If so, what was it like? I also hope that I picked the right weekend to go. I asked the advise from some people on my bus that live in Metcalfe and they advised to go either in the spring or fall. I chose the fall so I hope that the leaves will all be changing colours. They also advised me that I will have 2 hours to either shop or eat at a restaurant. I am bringing a friend and wondering how I should spend the time. Any advise?
