1925 - Edward S. Rogers Sr. invented the world’s first alternating current (AC) radio tube, which then enabled radios to be powered by ordinary household electric current. This was a dramatic breakthrough in technology and it became the key factor in popularizing radio reception. After this invention radios became far more commonplace. The call letters of his new radio station, CFRB, stand for 'Rogers Batteryless'.

Truthfully I did get the 3D movie ROE pass on KISS. I fgure it gets you into the theatre so if it is really bad you can duck out & see something else instead. Did you like the movie?
