1913 - US barnstormer John Bryant killed when he crashes his Curtiss seaplane in Victoria, British Columbia; Canada's first air fatality. He was married to Alys McKey Bryant, who was the first woman pilot to fly in Canada, over Vancouver, in a Curtiss-type pusher biplane. She had made that first flight two weeks before John Bryant's accident.

Good Morning Everyone
There were quite the conversations yesterday, I've never seen this blog so busy.
After work I decided to meet up with my mom at Value Village. It took me over 30 minutes to get from Booth and Carling to Fisher and Carling; stupid turning lane onto Fisher and lights were out at Fisher and Island Park. By the time I got home around 9pm I found out the power was out in my neighbourhood since about 4pm. Glad I didn't go home right away. Power came on around 10pm, set my clocks and coffee for this morning then woke up to no coffee, power went out again at some point.

You should phone up KISS and point out that you were never contacted. Maybe they'll feel bad and give you another prize to make up for the oversight.
@Pitchingin - as you know I don't win so am not sure whether they contact you by either email or phone but you may just want to check your email to ensure that anything you may have received didn't go right into junkmail. First thing I would do is check my contact information on my Kiss account. I would also check with Kiss and ensure that you were the one they should have contacted. There could be someone else out there using your name! The nerve of some people, I tell you.
It is possible that Kiss could feel bad about not contacting you and give you a T-shirt. Possibly even one that fits (most of mine don't).
