On This Day In Canadian History....

1923 - Canadian National Railways sets up the first radio network in Canada by hooking up Montreal station CHYC with CNRO Ottawa over telephone lines to broadcast the CNR anniversary program. CNRO later became CBO in 1937 when ownership was transferred to the CBC
