OMG!!! I cannot believe it. I am FINALLY going to see Shakira in concert after 8 years. *squeals* She has been one of my fav artists since 2001. I have seen all of my fav artists in concert except for her and missed her last two concerts cuz I couldn't go to them then. I am so glad that she chose to come back to Candada and Montreal of all places. Either there or Ottawa cuz Toronto is a bit too far to drive but I probably still would have gone to Toronto if necessary. I have been looking for months for any Canadian tour dates but saw none and I was starting to give up hope. Then yesterday, my sister informed me that she was coming to Montreal, which is her only Canadian stop. I am so happy and SUPER EXCITED. XD I bought my ticket last night, which is row 27 floor in the centre, which isn't too bad. However, the price was a bit steep for $125 + tax + fees but worth every penny. Now I just have to survive without any money until Friday. LOL
However, one thing does peeve me off a bit. I would have liked to been informed about this sooner cuz then I would have bought a ticket as soon as they went on sale this past Saturday and could have gotten a better seat. This was only suddenly announced a week ago and I guess I wasn't vigilante enough in my watch. However, I am going to be happy with what I got either way. :D
I will still entering the contests and hope to win cuz then it would mean a better seat then what I already have. Good luck to everyone else as well. :)

@MelMuff - that is great. We have been big Shakira fans since '99 and followed her closely when we lived in Buenos Aires as she was dating the then President's song. Still firmly believe her first three albums are her best. Enjoy the show.

@critic - that was supposed to be President's "son" - at the time young Antonio de la Rua (and I guess he is still young relative to me). The two are still going out after almost a decade.
