Did you know ...
According to one of the organizers, Bluesfest does not have any acts today because Monday was being reserved for a special guest: Paul McCartney. Huh.
@ Critic: Was it worth getting pulled away from KISS last night to listen to Rush? That must've disrupted your evening! :-)

@PitchinIn
no worries, your earlier post is correct as that's how KISS put the event online "EDUCATION RITA" hahaha (_?_)s
4pm VIP Song: The Script - Breakeven
Good Afternoon Mr. Red, Critic, Sweetdreams, PitchingIn, Mr. E., DeVil, Phil, Connie, Typhoon, J.P. & all :-)
5pm BEP song : I Gotta Feeling
8pm BEP song: Pump It
8pm VIP Song: Cascada - Fever
Ah crap! Critic gave us the wrong song for 8pm. Grrrrr!
I also put Cascada-Fever for the 8:00P.M. VIP SONG. It is the right answer.
@Mr. E. Sorry, I corrected the post as soon as I realized that it said that I had the wrong choice.
You were here before me. How come you didn't post it?
I'm just kidding you, Critic. :-)
I entered the song you originally posted a few minutes after my BEP post (got distracted) but before your post and got it wrong independently of your post (so you're off the hook and can sleep well tonight!).
BTW, how did you enjoy the Rush concert? The drum solo was awesome but I found the video intros to be rather corny (except for the one with the chimp versions of the band).
@Mr. E.
The Rush concert was good except couldn't see much of the stage. The video screens helped somewhat but they weren't always on. The chimps were funny. They had one video of what appeared to be an animated seahorse. I just didn't get how that related to anything.
Before they started playing I wandered around for a while looking for anyone or anything Chez related but found nothing but Virgins. So like LLB I was a bit ticked with Chez. I think the Geddy code is what we were all after. Last year Chez had their pickup truck parked on Booth during the Kiss concert. So at least I knew that they were around somewhere.
At around 7:30 I saw pharmerphil's back at the Subway beer tent. He was busy, standing at the right hand tap, filling cups as fast as he could. Clearly not a good time to say hello.
Damn! Took a wild guess for the 11:00 PM BEP song.
It's NOT Gotta Feeling!
Arggggghhh
Lost another 100 points!
Starting at midnight:

Let me know if you get a pizza! :p
@ Critic
We were positioned to see the middle screen and the stage (so quite far back). As you noted, the middle screen was flaky, working sometimes and not other times. That problem was definitely a let down during the drum solo as the screen conked out halfway through. Most of the videos and graphics made no sense to me but I think Geddy clarified this by something to the effect that this was their "silliest" concert tour ever. (It is also clear now that "Geddy" was the promised code.)
As for CHEZ, I doubt that they were even there. When I spoke with Eric at the Oak, he had no idea about CHEZ's Bluesfest plan. I was there from about 4pm onwards and if CHEZ was there and actively looking for CHEZ Nations members, they would certainly have seen me as I wandered from stage to stage (I think I saw a grand total of 3 other peeps with CHEZ shirts/caps. Caught a bit of John Hiatt before Rush but had to leave too early to reclaim my seat at the main stage.
Did you get to see the Bud girls at the Royal Oak? If so, hopefully you got a t-shirt as a memento.
@ PitchingIn
Thanks for posting about these free-bies!
