Good Morning Critic, Angel, Pnnknn, Phil, Mr. E., J.P., Pitchingin, Sweetdreams, Connie, Typhoon, Betty Anne, Summer and all :-)

@Mr. E - I did my research, and have been in business for about 18 months...and a regular entry in my e-mail box for about that long, along with Groupon, Koopon, RealDeal and several others.

According to an article in the Ottawa Business Journal they were very recently bought out by their founding partners from their major investor and planning on re-launching the site with a "big splash"

I think that WAS indeed a big splash! But it may have backfired on them, because of all the doubters yelling scam everywhere on the net. They were so overwhelmed with orders and people inquiring both by phone and thru social media/e-mails that they did not properly quell the doubters.

I bought 6 Petro-Canada gift cards and I'm confident it is NOT a scam.

My Opinion of Your City Deals:

The revamp or new owner Your City Deals is nothing to write home about. The deals are okay but try and reach them when you cannot log in or any support on their deals, they are really bad to try and get a hold of. Their number right now is not in service.

Their deals are legit but their support when things go wrong, well, good luck on your resolution.
