1967 - Expo 67 breaks attendance record of 42,973,561 set at the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels.
As an aside.....in 1979, the aging grounds of Expo 67 and "Man and His World" made an appearance on the science fiction series "Battlestar Galactica". The episode, "Greetings From Earth", was the story of a band of human survivors fleeing a murderous race of robots, and their adventures as they searched for possible allies on the lost world of Earth.

It's actually 3 hours, starting @ 8pm with a synopsis of the writer's strike shortened last season and the 2hr season premiere at 9pm.
My PVR is gonna be workin' overtime with a little time-shifting as well...season premiere of Boston Legal (ABC moved it to Monday's @ 10) and CSI:Miami at 10. Too many good programs on the same night!!
