have you considered something personal like a scrapbook that includes pictures, messages and ticket stubs from events you've attended together, maybe even some poetry. Kind of a history of the two of you as a couple.
I thought about something like that but there's 2 problems with that. She's done one already(working on it) and I'm very time restricted.

And another (inexpensive) idea...so she has more to unwrap...assuming your wedding invitations are ready...frame it!

Hey...where did my original idea go? It was a tour of ottawa by plane...about $100 for an hour...and you get to enjoy it too. I did this with my dad last year...just enough bumps and drops for the scare factor (on my part, not his).
