Using 1,000 guns and a masterful artillery barrage technique developed by Currie and his gunners, they take the German stronghold where the French and British had earlier failed; 4,000 Canadians killed, 6,000 wounded. From that day onward, Germany is on the defensive.

OTTAWA (Reuters) - In an unprecedented move, outgoing Governor General Michaelle Jean has petitioned Chez 106 FM to revoke the suspension of Mr. Red from the Rogers Radio loyalty programs. Ms. Jean was quoted as saying, "When I heard of Mr. Red's plight just weeks ago, I knew I had to act, and to act quickly, before Prime Minister Harper removed me from office." The Right-Honourable Ms. Jean has reportedly contacted Doc of "Doc and Woody" fame requesting a full pardon for Mr. Red.
Mr. Red was suspended from the Rogers Radio loyalty program last year after he snuck some extra bonus codes at Chez's on-site Toys for Boys event at Bushtukah, when Eric the Intern was momentarily distracted by another visitor, then later shared them on-line. Ms. Jean went on to say, "Some said that Eric's distractor was a conspirator but when I contacted Mr. Red for his side of the story, it was clear that there was a major misunderstanding. Mr. Red informed me that 'an older boy had told him to do it.' It was simply a case of peer pressure gone wrong."
Mr. Red could not be reached for comment but he was seen merrily posting on various radio code-related blogspots while this release was being drafted.
