On Wednesday night I received an email saying that they no longer had it. Of course they offered to refund my money but that was not the issue as I had been waiting for this one for weeks and wanted it for our gigs on May 1st and 2nd.

ReplyDelete@Pharmerphil, no, I was asking if you were looking for one to buy, rent, or borrow. I have one that I bought 17 years ago at the Ottawa Folklore store (on Bronson). I tried playing it for a grand total of maybe a half hour and decided to stick with fumbling with my guitars. It has sat in its case ever since. This mandolin is a Samic SM20E acoustic with an electric jack. I haven't decided if I want to part with it but I suspect that it is not what you're looking for because I paid only a few hundred dollars for it so I doubt that it is considered high-end!
