1952 - Foster Hewitt calls the play-by play on CBLT-TV, Toronto as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Boston Bruins 2-1 in an NHL game; this is Canada's' first English-language hockey telecast.

    Thank you for another Yeoman's job of posting the codes. I slept wrong (again), woke up with a bad crick in my neck, where it then became a migraine (again). I posted what I could then went back to bed until about 6pm.

    I've been hydrating with water, juice and Pepsi (for the caffeine) and with any luck, I'll be heading off in a couple of hours to see CrazyMike's Bro-in-law's Door's tribute band at the New Bayou.
