ReplyDeleteGood morning folks, gotta tell you how committed critic is to getting the bonus codes. So here we are at Bluesfest last night and we are chatting and he puts up his hand - I thought he just got a phone call as he was listening on an earphone. He pulls out a pad and writes something down. Turns out he is listening to KISS to record the codes which he posted when he got home before midnight last night. Also want to thank Mr. E and Mrs. E who invited us up to watch the shows on the mainbowl from their elevated and tented platform.

ReplyDeleteLots of excitement at Bluesfest tonight. As hundreds of fans ran for cover to the big tent west of the MBNA stage, I turned around in time to watch the stage collapse from the strong winds. Cheap Trick was still playing just minutes before and were shaken up but not hurt according to one attendee that helped them off stage. Some people got hurt though. It was so bad that it seemed like the big tent was going to blow away too. Bluesfest was completely shut down just minutes later (around 7:40pm) and everybody was evacuated from the grounds.

The Bear's tower was missing its canopy and the huge tower for the lights and cameras in front of the MBNA stage was missing most of its banners. The poor people in wheel chairs on the deck beside the stage got caught in most of the bad weather as it happened so fast they could not escape in time. Fortunately, the worst part lasted maybe 5 minutes or so.

Jenny is repeating the codes from Saturday night. She obviously picked up the wrong piece of paper when she made her recording. I just hope she realizes her error and switches to the correct sheet. Not holding my breath though.
