269 A.D. - There are varying opinions as to the origin of Valentine's Day. Some experts state that it originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. He died on February 14, 269 A.D., the same day that had been devoted to love lotteries. Legend also says that St. Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer's daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it "From Your Valentine".

ReplyDeleteAck! It's not fair. I just saw on the Draws section on KISS FM that their are having a contest to win NKOTBSB tickets before they go on sale to the public. It states that they will be in Ottawa on August 4. How did KISS FM get this information first? This bit of news hasn't even been announced officially anywhere else. Either way, I still hope that there is a pre-sale. I just bought myself a BSB membership to buy tickets before they go on sale to he public. I want my floor seat tickets. Front row hopefully.
