On This Day In Canadian History....

1967 - Expo 67 breaks attendance record of 42,973,561 set at the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels.

As an aside.....in 1979, the aging grounds of Expo 67 and "Man and His World" made an appearance on the science fiction series "Battlestar Galactica". The episode, "Greetings From Earth", was the story of a band of human survivors fleeing a murderous race of robots, and their adventures as they searched for possible allies on the lost world of Earth.

    I feel MUCH better today. Yesterday I left work at 2pm and slept 2 more hours before 5pm. My head feels good and no signs of a cold, knock on wood ... it's my birthday weekend and I would like to be in tip top shape :)
