I wasn't near a computer so I couldn't post the first two codes ... let's see if I can beat Angel on the next few. :-)

My contact put out a message after lunch to get the Sun code working, and as you know now, it is!

  17. @ Angel, tell your mom to go to Rideau Carleton Slots. They give you $5 free to gamble when it's your birthday month plus there's a big promo to win $1 million this month.

If she's not a member already, tell her to just join the Winner's Circle on-site to get her members card and put it in the slot machine before playing (she may have to re-insert the card to make sure it identifies her). They also give you a $10 voucher for next month to encourage you to come back! :-)

I hope your mom is not a "regular", or there goes your inheritance! :-)

Both my parents and my in-laws have been blowing money like crazy at the casinos over the years. All that money they scrimped and saved when my wife and I were kids, making us eat wieners and mac'n'cheese and wear hand-me-downs, is now being liberally donated without a care in the world to government via those damn casinos. It's a crime! >:-(

    ReplyDelete
  23. @Mr. E. :-)

lol don't worry, she's not a regular. Her and my Dad only go once in a while and they only bring a certain amount of money.

That's good to hear. The rare time I go (been to the casinos about 5 times in the past 25 years), I'm so cheap I won't spend more than $10. Sometimes, though, I watch some people just pressing the slots button almost non-stop, and this is on the dollar machines. I noticed a few gamblers had over 1000 points on their cards which means that they spent over $10,000 (1 pt = $10 gambled) to get those points (some of it is "re-invested" winnings of course but the amount is still shocking to me). I have 2 points on my card! LOL!

    T.G.I.F. is a state of mind! :-)

Even though I work on the weekends, the work is much more easy-going with soft deadlines for deliveries and traffic is a non-issue as long as I stay away from major shopping areas like Merivale Rd, Kanata Centrum, Rio Can (Barrhaven), Innes Rd in Orleans and Bayshore to name a few.

    ReplyDelete
  37. @Mr. E. Did Jenny fake me out? No, can't blame her. I'm working on the new shed in the back yard. I have to add some to it in order to keep the raccoon out and the groundhog out from under it.

Glad to be of assistance. Hope you win! I really do think the prizes should be smaller and more reasonable, but whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  40. @ Mr. Red

Your answer has some validity but did you have to be so fast in the 7pm time-slot? Why then?! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  41. @ Critic

Raccoon problems, eh? We have (at least) one in our neighbourhood too. It didn't do any damage though and stayed up in our backyard tree most of the day. The animal control peeps would not come to get it so we had to wait for it to leave on its own.

    ReplyDelete
  42. @ Connie ... don't wish for Mr. Red to win the Lotto Max when I am trying to win it too!!! LOL!

But you are right, the prizes could be better defined though. It will take interested lottery participants to complain and make alternate proposals that would be more interesting to all of us.

You are somewhat lucky that a groundhog is doing the burrowing. I'm battling a mother skunk doing the same under my garden shed as well as under my front porch. What a pain in the rear! Last year, a baby skunk fell down our window well and I had to use cinder bocks to help it rescue itself (the mother was hanging around the window well, totally helpless).

    ReplyDelete
  45. @ Mr. E.

The raccoon moved into the top shelf in the shed and was very quiet and I didn't really notice him at first. Unfortunately he was using his shelter as a latrine. It all flowed down on everything else in the shed. Man, that little bugger was full of crap! He didn't want to leave but I took everything out of the shed including the shelf he was living on, put Chez on the radio around the clock (AC/DC is good for something) and left lights on in the shed all night. Haven't seen him for a week.

Absolutely hilarious! AC/DC is heavy duty and glad to hear it worked! ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  53. @ Mr. Red

I watched that SNL episode with Bill Shatner live (whenever it was, many moons ago).

P.S. I think that all of us are not interested in getting a life (an impossibility through these channels); we are only interested in getting codes for freebies! I know that I'm a late player in the game but guess what? My wife and I have won over $5500 this year! Woo hoo! The vast majority of this prize was not on Rogers Radio stations either! Notwithstanding this, Rogers Radio has given us some good prizes too, and I hope they will give us many more! :-)

    @ everyone...

If you wish to join another prize type website... visit www.GSN.com and play either free or cash games for fun and to earn oodles which then give you prizes such as games from GSN, tv's and movies, etc...

I have been a member for FREE for over a year and just last week had a total of 44,125 oodles which I redeemed for a new bathroom digital scale (because our old one doesn't weigh properly anymore...but it gave us more than 30 years so I am not complaining).

They are stupid little games that anyone can play and must I say it...FREE stuff is the best stuff!

The mild winter allowed a lot of critters to survive and they are spreading over the land. We used to have just squirrels and then about 5 years ago rabbits became a regular sight. This year I seen a raccoon, a groundhog, field mice and multiple rabbits. The rabbits didn't used to bother my veggie garden but now I have one that has sampled my pepper plants and has taken a shine to the leaves on my beans. He's eaten about 5 down to stubs and denuded several others. I think he's trying to encourage me to make Hasenpfeffer.

    ReplyDelete
  61. @ Critic

Remember that old Bugs Bunny episode about "Hasenpfeffer"?! (The King swore it "tastes like carrots!") Not as funny when you're living it, for sure! We have little bunnies living on the greens of our local Hazeldean library (where they came from, who knows, but they are wild now.)
