On This Day In Canadian History....

1912 - US rodeo showman Guy Weadick opens the first Calgary Stampede Rodeo - called 'The Last and Best Great West Frontier Days Celebration. The six-day rodeo included a bucking horse ride, calf roping, steer wrestling, and trick riding; a highlight was Tom Three Persons' ride on the notorious bronco Cyclone.

    Yes they are! It was funny, the guy that won at 12:13 stopped at $300 and Renee tells him that's good you have $350! They had no choice but to give him $350!
