ReplyDeleteDiablo is a ball of energy running from room to room, up, over, under and around furniture, I forgot how hyper a young kitten can be.
It took him almost exactly a week before he warmed up to me and allowed me to get close to him, he's still somewhat timid and is easily startled by the slightest unexpected movement, including fast edits on the TV, which he is fascinated by.
I knew I was making progress on Wednesday when he slept on top of the bed in the downstairs guest bedroom, and on Thursday I was able to get within a couple of feet of him and by Friday morning he would roll on his back exposing his stomach showing submission to me as the Alpha male.
On Friday evening he came out of the bedroom and came up to me, verrrry cautiously and allowed himself to be petted and rubbed on his stomach.
By yesterday, Saturday, he was rubbing up against me, sitting in my lap while I/we watched TV, and even sleeping on me.
I promise to take a picture of him soon and post it on my blog, so you can see him. :-)
