Well, I've learned my lesson, last weekend I had over 780,500pts in my KiSS ViP account. Through sheer stupidity and greed I bought over 1,500 entries in the Snow Removal draw....and lost, now I have slightly more than 5,000pts. D'Oh!!

ReplyDeleteKiss has been aimed at the young 18-30 female demographic for a long time. I spoke to Jeff Graham at a bonus code event about a year ago and he told me the reason so many women won on the station is because so many listen and enter. He guestimated that KiSS's audience and/or audience participation rate was 80% female
Here's the kicker, I was speaking to Carter and Sandra the morning they were at the winners house to haul away the snow and they told me the winner had only ....ONE ENTRY in the draw. I didn't ask if it was a bonus entry from the weekend or bought using points.
BTW my total number of entries was 1,561 X 500 = 780,500 PLUS 49 entries from the weekend which equaled 1,610 entries. :-(

ReplyDeleteI agree that the station is aimed at females.. but I think that is because you have the other stations that are geared towards guys (which I do not listen to even when there is nothing that I want to hear on Kiss). I traded most of my points in when they had the stuffed animals :)
