you need to download 'Picassa' from this link :

Once it is done, run and register, using your google account. You can then experiment with uploading photos to an album that you will create. Once you have created an album, uploaded some of your photos, you are now ready to post some on your blog. Open your blog profile in another window. Click edit your profile. About half way down is a spot for a photo URL:. This should be a blank line. If not, clear it out. Go back to picassa. Put your cursor over the photo you wish to add to your profile and right click. Choose properties from the menu. From the properties box, copy the URL that is shown - caution : the entire URL is not visible, you will have to bring your mouse below thw URL line in order to capture the whole thing. Right click & choose copy. Paste the URL into the photo URL line in your profile. Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose 'save profile'. You will then see the same page again from the top and can check the changes by selecting view updated profile. If any of this made sense to you (or, your half assembled 'new BBQ' from last summer is still in the garage) you should have a pic beside your postings from this point on. The pic can easily be changed by using the steps above on other photos from your picassa albums :)

One step I forgot (it WAS early). Once Picassa has run once on your machine, close it. Open a browser and paste in : http://picasaweb.google.com/home
Here is where you sign in with your google account. Then follow the rest of the steps as listed above. :)

ReplyDeleteWell considering they put up most of their prizes during the day when most people are at work and some either don't have access to a computer or the internet or the site may be blocked by an internal firewall is quite easy to have over 100k in points. I myself have over 151,000 points.
